Way up at the northern tip of Utah is a most beautiful and elegant place only known as Conestoga Ranch Glamping Resort. Located on the turquoise shores of the Caribbean of the Rockers, Bear Lake, This glampground stands out amongst the crowd and is the true definition of glamping.

Sit back and enjoy as we dive into what makes this resort a truly memorable experience that is ideal for both the family or a romantic and intimate getaway.

The Most Unique Glamping Tents

The lodging at Conestoga is what separates them from the rest of the glamping resorts as it is simply unique and amazing.

During your stay you have your choice of a traditional bell tent or a family wagon for the most amazing experience.

The bell tents are well-framed, made with heavy canvas, and extremely luxurious. Maintaining a rustic feel, the tents have a full shower/bath combo, are fully furnished, and have either a queen-sized or king-sized bed with additional twin beds. You’ll find it all very accommodating.

Conestoga offers the most unique experience we’ve seen at any glampground and that is the Conestoga Family Wagon tents. Yes, that’s right. You can stay in a fully mobile 4 or 6 person wagon. The best part of this is they’ll move the wagons around to accommodate your group so you can “circle the wagons” so to say with your friends and family.

If you’re concerned about the chilly northern Utah nights, don’t worry. All of the tents come with electricity and heaters throughout. Comfort is a priority.

Of course the lodging is a very important aspect of your glamping experience; however, you’re going to want to get out and do something while you’re there.

Awesome Activities

You won’t be bored at Conestoga as there is no limit to the amount of activities you can do during your visit.

The on-site amenities are fantastic. Take a ride around the glampground on their complementary cruiser bicycles or relax in serenity by taking in a massage or enjoying a yoga session. At the end of the day, gather around the campfire and take advantage of their full-service campfire valet in which they’ll start the campfire and bring out s’mores.

There are also all of the other amenities you would typically expect such as laundry, Wi-Fi, and playgrounds.

Nearby there is plenty to do. Just a short drive away you can explore the Minnetonka or Paris Ice caves or dig for ancient fossils at the Fish Dig Quarry – and you get to keep what you find. Totally cool!

Additionally, there are all sorts of other great outdoor activities whether you enjoy hiking, watersports, horseback riding, or fishing. There is so much to do at the Conestoga Glamping Ranch.

With everything you can do in and around the ranch, you’ll probably work up an appetite. Don’t worry, the eats are just as good as the activities.

Plenty of Dining

Whether you’re looking for a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a quick snack, you’ll find whatever it is you’re looking for.

You can choose to stay at the Conestoga Ranch and take in a meal at the Campfire Grill where they have a wide menu of fresh and local cuisines. They offer traditional meals such as burgers, wraps, chicken wings, or mac n’ cheese, but where they shine is with their wood-fired pizzas. We just know that you’re going to enjoy the Calabrese or the Fresh Tomato wood fired pizzas.

Outside their grounds there are dozens of eateries to give you whatever options you’re taste buds are looking for.

Cody’s Gastro Garage, Pig and Berries Snack Shack, and the Bear Trapper Restaurant are just a few of the local joints you might find appealing depending on what you’re in the mood for. All of these diners are within a couple minutes of the ranch and are currently open despite COVID restrictions.
